In this tutorial you will learn how to add new menu and page in Dynamic Swish templates.

Open tfile_main.html file from sources/swish.

In the menu section, add new menu item.

Add new page by duplicating an existing one. Specify the text number for each text block.

Open .SWi file from sources/swish folder in SWiSH MAX program.

In the Outline Panel, find menu item and press F9 key to open Action Script panel.

Change the number of menu items by modifying the kill_butt and/or m values.

Find Pages item in the Outline. Click to select any of the page and press CTRL+C to copy it. Then CTRL+V to paste it.

New item will appear in the Outline Panel.

Rename it to Page_# where # is the actual page number Page_5 in this example.

We should now edit/add text fields.

In the Outline Panel, open Page_# -> Content_1 -> Text Fields.

Click to select a text object. Press F9 key to open the Action Script panel. Change _root.text_#; to match the number, which we have specified in the tfile_main.html file.

If you have duplicated the page. You will have existing content text fields. Click on the text field area in the Scene to select it. Navigate to Properties panel. Check and change the Var: value to match the _root.text_# number.

You may now save this file and publish it (CTRL+E) to see the preview.
