OCMOD is an alternative way of extensions setup in OpenCart 2.x.
OCMOD is a new system in OpenCart which allows uploading modified XML, PHP or SQL file without changing core files, i.e. in case any of files is removed or damaged, core files remain safe.
OCMOD is represented as simplified version of VQMOD in OpenCart 2.x. Thus, it allows user to install extensions right through OpenCart admin panel.
OCMOD files are usually stored in the system/modification directory on server.
