WHM
August 10, 2016
WHM (The WebHost Manager) is software for working with cPanel hosting panel.
The WebHost Manager version for root administrators and resellers permits configuration of DNS and FTP, services, deployment packages, branding, and security settings to easily support thousands of customer accounts. The cPanel itself functions as a dedicated or virtual private server on CentOS, Red Hat Linux or CloudLinux. It offers application and email based support for Apache, MySQL, and SMTP. Auto-installers and other software packages may be bundled with the cPanel or made available at an additional fee.
WHM may give you a suite of tools to easily do the following things:
Create, delete, and suspend your cPanel accounts.
Manage and monitor your sites (password resets).
Access to check and change all of your domains’ DNS zones.
Configure your own customers’ support requests through cPanel.
Check the server’s information and status.
Create your own default page when you create a new account.
Access to customize your hosting and control panel with extensive branding.
Change your client domain names and user names.
Hop between every cPanel on your account and access/change anything that does not require SQL access.
WHM depends on cPanel and services that could be added.
