To disable or unistall a language, navigate to the System->Localization->Languages section via the main navigation menu:

To unistall a language, click on a checkbox near the language you want to unsitall and hit the Delete button on the top right:

To disable a language, click hit the Edit button next to the language you want to disable. On the editing page set the Status to Disabled. After the change is done, click Save button in the top right:
