Recently our developers enhanced the OsCommerce 2.3 templates with new featured, functionality and administration panel options. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Nivo slider<\/h3>\r\n\r\n

New OsCommerce 2.3 templates are provided with the implemented jQuery image slider – Nivo Slider. Without any additional programming you can display the products, banners or some content blocks in a fancy way. You can learn more about Nivo slider at the official website at http:\/\/nivo.dev7studios.com<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n

The slider configuration options are available under Admin -> Configuration -> Nivo Slider<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n

Allows you select the desired slider effect. Experiment with available options to acquire the most desired result. <\/dd>\r\n \r\n
Delay<\/dt>\r\n
Delay between the slider in milliseconds.<\/dd>\r\n \r\n
Box Columns and Box Rows<\/dt>\r\n
Amount of rows and columns for the box based animation effects (boxRandom, boxRain, boxRainReverse, boxRainGrow, boxRainGrowReverse).<\/dd>\r\n \r\n
ControlNav<\/dt>\r\n
Select if you want to display the slider controls (1, 2, 3 etc)<\/dd>\r\n \r\n

Boxes<\/h3>\r\n\r\n

In new OsCommerce 2.3 templates you have the option to display the sidebar boxes at the specific pages. The option is available under Admin -> Modules -> Boxes<\/strong>. select any module, click Edit and at the bottom of the right column you’ll see the option. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

There are also several new boxes available that give you more options to configure your store layout. <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Some boxes have the option Content Placement<\/strong> that allows you to display the boxes in various positions. For example Manufacturer Info box could be placed into the Left Column, Right column or Product page. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

1* – <\/strong>New products are usually displayed at the website home page or when clicking at the category with no products but included sub-categories. New products block displays recently added products for the last month. <\/p>\r\n \r\n

2* – <\/strong>Nivo slider cuts the images into slices for more fancy animation. In other words the image that you are using for the slider is displayed as a bunch of small images, called slices. <\/p>\r\n \r\n
