This tutorial will show you how to install static blocks manually in Magento store. <\/p>\r\n

Magento. How to install sample static blocks manually<\/a><\/p>\r\n

In case you are installing the template over the live store or you just don\u2019t want to install template sample data, you need to configure the static blocks manually.<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    You should open a preview of the template in a browser. You can find a page "Template Settings"<\/strong> with template settings for static blocks configuration under Information<\/strong> block in footer area: <\/p>\r\n

    The code for blocks is located in “sources\/demo\/static_blocks” <\/strong>folder of your template package.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Log into your Magento admin panel and navigate to CMS -> Static blocks<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    Click ‘Add New Block<\/strong>‘ button in the top right corner:<\/p>\r\n

    Open Template settings<\/strong> page on the template preview – and copy Block Title<\/strong> and Identifier<\/strong> from there to the corresponding fields of the static block.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Open "sources\/demo\/static_blocks" <\/strong>folder and copy the code from the appropriate .phtml file and paste it into the ‘Content<\/strong>‘ field: <\/p>\r\n

    Click Save block<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n
