This tutorial shows how to install Joomla Framework template. It’s assumed that you already have a database created and have Joomla engine installed on your hosting server. <\/p>\r\n

It is vitally important to perform the installation steps as shown below. Please do not change the steps order.<\/p>\r\n

Additional Content installation<\/h3>\r\n

First of all you need to install all additional modules and components. They can be installed using the Joomla administration panel. <\/p>\r\n

  1. Open Joomla admin panel<\/li>\r\n
  2. Go to Extensions > Extensions Manager<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  3. Click Choose File<\/strong> button and upload all <\/strong>zip package files from the template "sources<\/strong>" directory. <\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    Framework Installation<\/h3>\r\n

    When all modules and components are installed you need to download Gantry Framework package. It can be downloaded from the official website at http:\/\/www.gantry-framework.org\/download<\/a><\/p>\r\n

    Please make sure you are downloading Gantry Framework for Joomla 1.7<\/p>\r\n

    When the download is complete install it through the Extensions Manager in Joomla admin panel. <\/p>\r\n

    Theme installation<\/h3>\r\n

    Now you can install Joomla theme itself. Open Joomla admin panel go to Extensions > Extensions Manager<\/strong>. Upload the theme###.zip<\/strong> package from the "joomla<\/strong>" directory of your template package. <\/p>\r\n

    If you have a clear Joomla installation and want to make your website appear as the template preview please proceed. In case you have a working Joomla website with important content (articles, modules, settings) please DO NOT<\/strong> install template sample data. Installing sample data will erase all your Joomla website content and replace it with the theme sample one. <\/p>\r\n

    If you want to keep your website content please check the template instructions from the "documentation<\/strong>" directory of your template package. You need to configure the template manually. <\/p>\r\n

    Sample data installation<\/h3>\r\n

    Open your database management tool (phpMyAdmin<\/strong>) from your hosting control panel. Select your database and click the Import<\/strong> button from the top menu. <\/p>\r\n

    Select the dump.sql<\/strong> file from the template "sources<\/strong>" directory and click Go<\/strong> button in the bottom right corner. <\/p>\r\n

    At last the final step. You need to upload the sample data images. Open the template package, go to "sources\/to_root_directory<\/strong>" upload all files and folder to your Joomla installation root.<\/p>\r\n

    Congratulations. You have successfully installed Joomla Framework template. <\/strong><\/p>\r\n
