Hello! This video tutorial shows how to use the Magento<\/a><\/strong> translation tool<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\nMagento. How to use “Translate Inline” feature<\/a>\r\n

You may want to translate\/change some text on your store front-end. Let’s learn how to do that quickly.<\/p>\r\n

The tutorial assumes you are already logged into your Magento admin panel.<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n\t\t

    Navigate to System ->Configuration<\/strong> tab:<\/p>\r\n\t\t\r\n\"magento_how_to_use_translation_tool_1\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  2. \r\n\t\t

    Then scroll down to locate the “Developer”<\/strong> tab under Advanced<\/strong> section:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"magento_how_to_use_translation_tool_2\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  3. \r\n\t\t

    At the appeared screen click the Translate Inline<\/strong> tab to open inline translation options.<\/p>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  4. \r\n\t\t

    Set the “Enabled for Frontend”<\/strong> option to “Yes”<\/strong> and click Save Config<\/strong> button at the upper right of the screen to apply the change:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"magento_how_to_use_translation_tool_3\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    Now that the Translate Inline<\/strong> is enabled, navigate to your store front-end and refresh the page – some red frames appear across different sections of your site:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"magento_how_to_use_translation_tool_4\"<\/a>\r\n

    Let’s say, you want to change the “My Cart”<\/strong> text in the cart section to just “Cart”<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

      Hover the red frame and click the “book”<\/strong> icon to open the screen with text editing interface:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"magento_how_to_use_translation_tool_5\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

    2. \r\n\t\t

      In the popped-up window change the “My Cart”<\/strong> text in the “Custom:”<\/strong> field to “Cart”<\/strong> and click “Submit”<\/strong> button to apply the changes:<\/p>\r\n\t\r\n\"magento_how_to_use_translation_tool_6\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

    3. \r\n\t\t

      Make sure to refresh the page to see changes.<\/p>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

      You can see the “My Cart”<\/strong> text is successfully changed to “Cart”<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"magento_how_to_use_translation_tool_7\"<\/a>\r\n

      Do not forget to disable the Translate Inline<\/strong> tool once you finish editing.<\/p>\r\n
