OsCommerce engine requires MySQL database to store website data. Please access your hosting control panel and create new database. <a href=\"\/help\/how-to-create-a-database.html\" target=\"_blank\">Learn more about creating databases<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>2. Make sure you have all applications required to work with osCommerce template. You can see list of required software at the template preview page. <\/p>\r\n<p>3. Make sure your hosting provider fits osCommerce requirements. You can see template requirements at the template preview page. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>Downloading template files<\/h3>\r\n<p>Using the link from your template delivery email please download osCommerce template package. Template package is provided as a ZIP archive. You need to extract files using some archive manager. You can check detailed tutorials on how to extract template packages on <a href=\"\/help\/how-unzip-template-mac.html\" target=\"_blank\">MAC<\/a> and <a href=\"\/help\/unzipping-your-template.html\" target=\"_blank\">Windows<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>When you are done with the template extracting you should see the following files structure:<\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"files-structure\">\r\n  <li class=\"lev-1\">osc<\/li>\r\n  <li class=\"lev-2\">catalog<\/li>\r\n  <li class=\"lev-2\">extras<\/li>\r\n  <li class=\"lev-1\">screenshots<\/li>\r\n  <li class=\"lev-1\">sources<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h3>Uploading osCommerce files to hosting server<\/h3>\r\n<p>osCommerce template is integrated into osCommerce engine so there is no need to install osCommerce engine separately. <\/p>\r\n<p>To upload osCommerce template correctly please open the directory with the extracted template files, go to <strong>osc &gt; catalog<\/strong> folder. Upload the content of the <strong>catalog<\/strong> folder to your hosting server. <\/p>\r\n<p>Feel free to check the detailed video tutorial on <a href=\"\/help\/how-upload-files-server-2.html\" target=\"_blank\">how to upload files to the hosting server<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>Installing osCommerce template<\/h3>\r\n<p>When the uploading is complete open your internet browser and in the address bar input <strong>your_domain\/root_to_oscommerce_installation<\/strong>. You should see osCommerce installation welcome screen. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4>Intitial screen. Checking server settings<\/h4>\r\n<p>At this step osCommerce is checking your hosting server requirements. If your server fits osCommerce requirements click <strong>Continue<\/strong> button to proceed.
