{"id":1955,"date":"2010-11-15T10:25:00","date_gmt":"2010-11-15T10:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mts-help.nick.php.dev\/after_sale_support\/Demo_movies_database\/Photoshop\/article8.html"},"modified":"2012-01-30T00:47:43","modified_gmt":"2012-01-30T05:47:43","slug":"how-resize-images","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.templatemonster.com\/help\/how-resize-images.html","title":{"rendered":"How to resize images"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The following tutorial will show you how to resize  images using the Image Size feature in Adobe Photoshop application.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<!--more-->\r\n<p>Open your image in Adobe Photoshop and go to <strong>Image \u2013 Image size<\/strong> or open Image size windows at the press of <strong>Ctrl+Alt+I<\/strong> hotkey. <br \/>\r\n  We now have two sets of inputs: <em>Document Size<\/em> and <em>Pixel Dimensions<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/1_resize.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/1_resize-300x275.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"1_resize\" width=\"300\" height=\"275\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14011\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\n<p>The <strong>Pixel  Dimensions<\/strong> section tells us the width and height of our image in pixels or  percent as well as the file size of our image.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/2_resize.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/2_resize-300x83.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"2_resize\" width=\"300\" height=\"83\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14012\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.templatemonster.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/2_resize-300x83.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.templatemonster.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/2_resize.jpg 372w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Constrain Proportions<\/strong> option, which is enabled by default, links the  width and height of the image together so that if you make a change to the height  of the image (in Pixel Dimensions) Photoshop will automatically change the width  value accordingly, and vice versa. <br \/>\r\n  But if you want to be able to change the width and height independently  of each other, simply uncheck this checkbox. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/3_resize.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/3_resize-300x52.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"3_resize\" width=\"300\" height=\"52\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14013\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.templatemonster.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/3_resize-300x52.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.templatemonster.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/3_resize.jpg 373w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\n<p>The <strong>Document Size<\/strong> section tells us how large or small our image will  appear on a paper if we print it. You can choose between 7 measuring values.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/4_resize.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/info.template-help.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/4_resize-300x175.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"4_resize\" width=\"300\" height=\"175\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14010\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.templatemonster.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/4_resize-300x175.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.templatemonster.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/4_resize.jpg 369w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p> After resizing your image save it by clicking   <strong>File &#8211; Save As<\/strong>.
