This tutorial will show you how to change the database table prefix in SQL file in Joomla template.<\/p>\r\n

1.<\/strong> If you import the dump file to your database and nothing happens on your website, you should check the database table prefix used for your Joomla installation. Go to Site > Global configuration<\/strong> and click on Server<\/strong> tab<\/p>\r\n

2.<\/strong> Check the field "Database Tables Prefix<\/strong>" and copy the prefix from there.<\/p>\r\n

3.<\/strong> Open your dump.sql<\/strong> file from Sources<\/strong> folder and choose Find&Replace<\/strong> tool. You need to replace all "jos_<\/strong>" instances with your table prefix there. Paste jos_<\/strong> to the "Find<\/strong>" field and your prefix to the "Replace<\/strong>" field, then click on Replace all<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n
