In this tutorial you will learn how to manage featured and specials products in Jigoshop<\/p>\r\n

You can add new product or use an existing one to assign as Featured.<\/p>\r\n

So, lets add new product, specify product name, product type, product price etc., Then check box to enable option to feature this product<\/strong> in Product Data tab option.<\/p>\r\n

Add Featured Image.<\/p>\r\n

Click Publish<\/strong> button to save the changes.<\/p>\r\n

Go to Appearance<\/strong> -> Widgets<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Open Featured Products<\/strong> widget in Before Content Area<\/strong> section.<\/p>\r\n

Here, we can edit the title, text limit and how many posts we want to display.<\/p>\r\n

This is it. We’ve added Featured product successfully.<\/p>\r\n

Our newly added product will also appear in Latest Products<\/strong> section.<\/p>\r\n

Lets add new product and assign it as Special<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

Login to WordPress admin panel, navigate to Appearance<\/strong> -> Widgets<\/strong> and open Specials<\/strong> widget from Content Right<\/strong> section.<\/p>\r\n

Here, we can edit the Title, number of posts (products) to display and choose sort by option.<\/p>\r\n

So, lets add new product, add featured image for it and select Specials<\/strong> option from the list of Product Categories<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

Click Publish<\/strong> to save changes.<\/p>\r\n

Note:<\/strong>In case you want to display newly added Specials<\/strong> product on your home page, you can change the Published Date<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n
