This tutorial shows how to use Twitter widget (API 1.1) in Drupal.<\/p>\r\n

1. Go to http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/twitter<\/a> and download Twitter<\/strong> module.<\/p>\r\n

2. Go to http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/oauth<\/a> and download OAuth<\/strong> module. <\/p>\r\n

3. Install <\/a>modules to your Drupal. <\/p>\r\n

4. Enable Twitter<\/strong>, OAuth<\/strong> and OAuth Provider UI modules<\/strong> in Drupal admin section: Administration-> Modules<\/strong> <\/p>\r\n

5. Now we need to create Twitter App. Go to http:\/\/twitter.com\/apps\/new<\/a>, login or create an account and create application. <\/p>\r\n

5.1. In Website<\/strong> field you need to specify your website address.<\/p>\r\n

5.2 In order to find out OAuth URL you need to open Twitter module settings. You can just add this link to your website URL in order to open settings directly: admin\/config\/services\/twitter\/settings<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

5.3. App settings should look like on screenshot below:<\/p>\r\n

6. Go to Settings <\/strong>tab and set appropriate permissions:<\/p>\r\n

7.In Administration-> Configuration-> Twitter<\/strong> you need to specify OAuth Key<\/strong> and Secret<\/strong>. You can find them in your Twitter application details.<\/p>\r\n

8. Go to Twitter tab and add Twitter account:<\/p>\r\n

9. Authorize access.<\/p>\r\n

10. Make sure that your Twitter name is specified in Configuration > Twitter Profile Widget<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n
