This tutorial is going to show you how to deal with \u00a0the "Warning, the Safe Path is empty" message that may appear in the administration panel of your VirtueMart site.<\/p>\r\n\r\nVirtueMart 2.x. How to deal with “Warning, the Safe Path is empty” message<\/a>\r\n\r\n

If you log into the administration panel of your VirtueMart site and go to the menu Content -> VirtueMart -> Configuration<\/strong>, you may see this message<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n \r\n

In order to disable it:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

    \r\n
  1. Connect to your server via FTP using the FileManager your hosting control panel provides or an FTP client (e.g. FileZilla).<\/li>\r\n
  2. Once connected, make sure you are in the directory where your public_html folder is located (the web root for your primary domain).<\/li>\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n
  3. Create an empty folder in there called “vmfiles<\/strong>”.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n
  4. Log into your Joomla admin panel and go to go to the menu Content -> VirtueMart -> Configuration<\/strong>. <\/li>\r\n
  5. Click on the Templates<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\r\n
  6. Scroll down till you see an empty field called Safe Path.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  7. Type the path to the “vmfiles” folder you created including the name of the folder itself into this field. For example:<\/li>\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n
  8. Click Save <\/strong>in the top right corner.<\/li>\r\n
  9. The message should disappear.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n
