The Bundle product type lets customers build their own customized version of a product from an assortment of options. <\/p>\r\n
I. Create the Bundle Product<\/h3>\r\n
From the Admin panel, select Catalog > Manage Products<\/strong>. Then, click the Add Product<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n In the Create Product Settings<\/strong> section, select the Attribute Set<\/strong> for the product.<\/p>\r\n Make sure the Use Complex Product Types<\/strong> checkbox is selected. Set Product Type<\/strong> to “Bundle Product” and click the Continue<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n Complete the Product Information as you would for a Simple product, with the exception of the following: <\/p>\r\n On the General tab<\/strong>, set both the SKU <\/strong>and Weight <\/strong>fields to one of the following:<\/p>\r\n On the Prices <\/strong>tab, set the Price to one of the following:<\/p>\r\n On the Prices <\/strong>tab, set the Price View<\/strong> to one of the following:<\/p>\r\n In the Product Information<\/strong> panel on the left, select the last option, Bundle Items<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n Then in the Shipment <\/strong>section, set Ship Bundle Items<\/strong> to one of the following: <\/p>\r\n In the Bundle Items<\/strong> section, click the Add New Option<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n In the Default Title<\/strong> box, enter a label for the bundle item as you want it to appear on the Customize Product page. Then, do the following:<\/p>\r\n a)<\/strong> Set the Input Type<\/strong> to one of the following:<\/p>\r\n b)<\/strong> Set Is Required<\/strong> as needed.<\/p>\r\n c)<\/strong> In the Position<\/strong> field, enter the order that you want this item listed in relation to other items included in the bundle.<\/p>\r\n Click the Add Selection<\/strong> button. Then, do the following:<\/p>\r\n a)<\/strong> Click the Reset Filter<\/strong> button to display the list of products.<\/p>\r\n b)<\/strong> Select the checkbox of each product that you want to include in this item.<\/p>\r\n c)<\/strong> Then, in the Qty to Add<\/strong> column, enter the quantity of each item to be included.<\/p>\r\n Click the Add Selected Product(s) to Option<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n When the items appear in the Bundle Items list, do the following:<\/p>\r\n a)<\/strong> If you want to prevent the customer from changing the quantity of the item, set User Defined Qty<\/strong> to “No.” Otherwise, accept the default setting of “Yes,” which displays an input box, so the customer can enter the quantity.<\/p>\r\n b)<\/strong> To change the order in which the items are listed, enter a number in the Position<\/strong> column of each item to determine its position in relation to other items.<\/p>\r\n c)<\/strong> Select the Default<\/strong> option of the item you want to be pre-selected in the form.<\/p>\r\n Repeat steps 3-7 for each item you want to include in the bundle.<\/p>\r\nII. Complete the Product information<\/h3>\r\n
