This tutorial shows how to set up Related, Up-Sells, and Cross-Sells products in WooCommerce.<\/p>\r\n\r\nWooCommerce. How to set up Related, Up-Sells, and Cross-Sells products<\/a>\r\n\r\n

In the WooCommerce admin area when you are editing the product data there is a “Linked Products”<\/strong> tab. \u00a0Products can be related to each other in three ways: \u00a0Up-Sells, Cross-Sells, or by having the same tags or categories<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"#2-WooCommerce.-How-to-set-up-Related,-Up-Sells,-and-Cross-Sells-products\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n

I. Up-Sells<\/h3>\r\n\r\n

Up-sells are products which you recommend instead of the currently viewed product, for example, products that are more profitable or better quality or more expensive. \u00a0Depending on your site\u2019s template these products will display on the single product page underneath the product\u2019s description.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"#4-WooCommerce.-How-to-set-up-Related,-Up-Sells,-and-Cross-Sells-products\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n

II. Cross-Sells<\/h3>\r\n\r\n

Cross-sells are products which you promote in the cart, based on the current product. \u00a0Depending on your site\u2019s template they will display on the cart page underneath the cart products table with a thumbnail image.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

III. Related Products<\/h3>\r\n\r\n

Related products is a section on some templates that pulls other products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n

These products can not be specified in the admin, but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"#1-WooCommerce.-How-to-set-up-Related,-Up-Sells,-and-Cross-Sells-products\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n

Here is an example product page using the\u00a0WooCommerce\u00a0theme that shows the Up-Sells and the Related Products. \u00a0Each time the page is reloaded the products shown in the “Related Products” section will be different. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
