Today we are glad to present a tutorial that shows how to change the map location in Opencart contact us page.<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    To edit the map location, we should edit contact us page file.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  2. \r\n

    Please connect to your FTP account using any FTP manager or FileManager within your hosting control panel and navigate to \/catalog\/view\/theme\/themeXXX\/template\/information<\/strong> folder.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  3. \r\n

    Edit contact.tpl<\/strong> file using any PHP or HTML editor.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  4. \r\n

    Search for the line which looks similar to the following one:<\/p>\r\n

    <iframe width=\"385\" height=\"243\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps... ><\/pre>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
  5. \r\n
    The code we are interested in ends with <\/iframe><\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
  6. \r\n
    Go to http:\/\/maps.google.com<\/a> to generate a new map.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
  7. \r\n
    Locate the place you would like to display on the map and click Share and embed map<\/strong> button to receive a new link.<\/p>\r\n

    Check map size in contact.tpl<\/strong> file (check <iframe width=”100%″ height=”200px″) and set exactly the same size for your new map.<\/p>\r\n

    Copy this HTML code starting with <iframe<\/strong> … and ending with <\/iframe><\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Now you should remove the old code and insert your new one in contact.tpl<\/strong>. Save the changes and upload file back to \/catalog\/view\/theme\/themeXXX\/template\/information<\/strong> folder.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
  11. \r\n
    Reload the page and you will see the changes applied. Wish you good luck!<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
