Welcome! Today you will learn how to enable or disable comments in Drupal.<\/p>\r\n

<\/a><\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  1. \r\n

    Log into admin panel of your website (usually by adding \/?q=user<\/strong> to the url).<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  2. \r\n

    Click on Structure<\/strong> from the upper menu bar and then select the Content types<\/strong> category:<\/p>\r\n

    Click Edit button, located next to the name of the content type you wish to edit.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  4. \r\n

    Scroll down and click on Comment settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  5. \r\n

    Select Closed<\/strong> from the drop down menu under Default comment setting for the new content:<\/p>\r\n

    Click Save content type button at the bottom of the page. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    To disable comments for an element, you can follow these steps:<\/p>\r\n

    1. \r\n

      Click on Content<\/strong> from the upper menu bar:<\/p>\r\n

      Click on the needed element.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

      After that click the edit<\/strong> button, choose comments setting and change it from open to close:<\/p>\r\n

      Save changes and reload the page.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
