OpenCart 1.5.x. How to manage products reviews<\/a><\/p>\r\n

It will teach you how to create your own product reviews, approve your customers’ reviews and set products’ rating.<\/p>\r\n

How to create new product review<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    Log into your OpenCart admin panel and go to Catalog -> Reviews<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

    The list of reviews shows the "product name", "author", "rating", and the "date added".<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Click Insert<\/strong> to add a new review.<\/p>\r\n

    Enter your name in the Author<\/strong> field.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    When the product shows up, select it from the list. <\/p>\r\n

    Enable this review to make it show up.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

    To delete a review select if from the list and click Delete<\/strong> button in the top right corner.<\/p>\r\n

    How to approve your customers review<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Your customers can leave their own product reviews at the frontend. To leave a review, they should go to the product page and fill "Your name" and "Your review" fields, then rate a product using "Rating" checkboxes. After that enter a captcha and press Continue<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

    This review will appear at the frontend after site administrator approves it at the backend.<\/p>\r\n

    To approve customer’s review follow the steps below:<\/p>\r\n

      Click Edit<\/strong> to open review which you want to approve.<\/p>\r\n

      Change review status to Enabled<\/strong>. You can also change review text and rating as shown above.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
