PrestaShop 1.6.x. How to display prices in Catalog mode<\/a><\/p>\r\n

As you know, Catalog mode<\/strong> is used when merchants want to show their products online but not allow online purchases. This means that all the products are displayed on the site but prices. The Shopping cart<\/strong> feature is also disabled in this mode: <\/p>\r\n

Let us show you the trick how to make product price appear at the front-end even if Catalog mode<\/strong> is enabled and there is no Shopping cart<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    On your FTP or using the hosting cpanel File Manager tool, go to themes\\themeXXX\\<\/strong> (where themeXXX<\/strong> is the name of your theme). <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  2. \r\n

    Open product-list.tpl<\/strong> file: <\/p>\r\n

  3. \r\n

    Look for the following code (in our case it is on line 63, that depends on a template you have):<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n  \t {if (!$PS_CATALOG_MODE AND ((isset($product.show_price) && $product.show_price) || (isset($product.available_for_order) && $product.available_for_order)))}\r\n  <\/pre>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
  4. \r\n
    Now delete text !$PS_CATALOG_MODE AND<\/strong> from this part of the code. Your new code will look like this:<\/p>\r\n
    \r\n  \t {if ( ((isset($product.show_price) && $product.show_price) || (isset($product.available_for_order) && $product.available_for_order)))}\r\n  <\/pre>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
  5. \r\n
    Save<\/strong> the changes: <\/p>\r\n

  6. \r\n
    Now open product.tpl<\/strong> file in the same themes\\themeXXX\\<\/strong> folder: <\/p>\r\n

    Look for the following code (in our case it is on line 254):<\/p>\r\n
    \r\n  \t {if $product->show_price && !isset($restricted_country_mode) && !$PS_CATALOG_MODE }\r\n  <\/pre>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Now delete text && !$PS_CATALOG_MODE<\/strong> from this part of the code. Your new code will look like this:<\/p>\r\n

    Save<\/strong> the changes: <\/p>\r\n

    Refresh the front-end of your site to see the changes: <\/p>\r\n

    That’s it! Now prices are shown at the front-end despite of the enabled Catalog mode.<\/p>\r\n
