Good news for all on-line store keepers! In our new tutorial we will teach you how to manage links in your Shopify navigation menus.<\/p>\r\n

You can easily add, change or remove navigation links in your store.<\/p>\r\n

Log into your Shopify Admin panel and go to Navigation<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

You will see two link lists: Footer<\/strong> and Main menu<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

Both menus work exactly the same way. The difference is that Main menu<\/strong> is responsible for links at the top and Footer<\/strong> – for links at the bottom of your site:<\/p>\r\n

We will show you how to manage navigation links using top menu<\/strong> as an example:<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    Click Edit link list<\/strong> on the left side of the Main menu<\/strong> section:<\/p>\r\n

    Here we can see the links that we have now. At the moment they are Home<\/strong>, Catalog<\/strong> and Blog<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

    To show you how to add links, let us add the link to About us<\/strong> page as an example.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  3. \r\n

    Click Add another link<\/strong> on the left:<\/p>\r\n

    Type the Link name<\/strong> in the appropriate field and pick up the type of link from Link to…<\/strong> dropdown.<\/p>\r\n

    First seven items of this drop down are for the internal Shopify links. And the last one Web Address<\/strong> will help you in case you need to set a link to the external web page:<\/p>\r\n

    From the Select a page<\/strong> dropdown select a specific page you want to link to. (In case you choose Web Address<\/strong> from this drop down, you will need to paste site url<\/strong> in this field).<\/p>\r\n

    Save<\/strong> the changes:<\/p>\r\n

    Refresh your front end. The link list is now updated and About us<\/strong> page appears in the top menu:<\/p>\r\n

    You can change links order<\/strong> in the same section.<\/p>\r\n

    Hover with your mouse over the small button on the left of the link name. When cursor changes, drag and drop<\/strong> your menu item to new location. Save<\/strong> the changes:<\/p>\r\n

    Refresh your front end. Links order is changed now:<\/p>\r\n

    To delete<\/strong> a link click on the trash can<\/strong> icon on the right and Save<\/strong> the changes.<\/p>\r\n

    Please keep in mind that deleting a link from the list will not delete the block from your shop:<\/p>\r\n
