    Log into WordPress Admin Panel<\/strong>. Go to Settings<\/strong> and click on Permalinks<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    Select the Custom Structure<\/strong> and add \/%category%\/%postname%\/ in Custom structure<\/strong> field:<\/p>\r\n

    You can check the list of custom permalinks on WordPress Official<\/a> source that you can set below: <\/p>\r\n

    \r\n%year%\r\n    The year of the post, four digits, for example 2004 \r\n\r\n %monthnum%\r\n    Month of the year, for example 05 \r\n\r\n %day%\r\n    Day of the month, for example 28 \r\n\r\n %hour%\r\n    Hour of the day, for example 15 \r\n\r\n %minute%\r\n    Minute of the hour, for example 43 \r\n\r\n %second%\r\n    Second of the minute, for example 33 \r\n\r\n %post_id%\r\n    The unique ID # of the post, for example 423 \r\n\r\n %postname%\r\n    A sanitized version of the title of the post (post slug field on Edit Post\/Page panel). So \u201cThis Is A Great Post!\u201d becomes this-is-a-great-post in the URL. \r\n\r\n %category%\r\n    A sanitized version of the category name (category slug field on New\/Edit Category panel). Nested sub-categories appear as nested directories in the URL. \r\n\r\n %author%\r\n    A sanitized version of the author name. \r\n\t<\/pre>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Go to Posts<\/strong>, select All posts<\/strong> button, click on one of the posts from the list, for example Brand new post<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n
