This tutorial will show you how to set a custom group of users that use discount in Magento store.<\/p>\r\n

In order to perform this, several steps should be performed:<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    Create a new customer group.<\/strong> Navigate to Customers > Customer Groups > Add New Customer: <\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    Specify the name for it under ‘Group Name’<\/strong> tab and click ‘Save Customer Group’<\/strong> button. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Set the discount.<\/strong> Go to Promotions > Catalog Price Rules > Add New Rule<\/strong>: <\/p>\r\n

    Fill in the tabs with required information. Make sure you’ve put this discount group to be active. Under ‘Customer Groups’<\/strong> section select the group created in the previous step.     Assign customer to the specific discount group.<\/strong> Once customer is registered, you can change his group through Customers > Manage Customers<\/strong>. Select the needed \u00a0one from the list of available customers, go to Account > Customer Group<\/strong> tab. Select the group created for special discount. Save changes to settings by clicking ‘Save Customer’<\/strong> button: <\/p>\r\n
