This tutorial will show you the way to set up and use the ‘Whos Online’<\/strong> module in Joomla 3.x.<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    To add a new ‘Who’s Online’<\/strong> Module, navigate to the Extensions -> Module Manager<\/strong>. Click the ‘New’<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n

    Click on ‘Who’s Online’<\/strong> in the list of modules, then use the ‘New’<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n

    Set a title<\/strong> for your new module;<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Select what users you’d like to be displayed online (Guests<\/strong>, Registered Users<\/strong>, Both<\/strong>).<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    You may select a module position from the pre-defined positions where you can filter by type and template, or enter your own module position by typing the name in the field and click Save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    You can also set an optional date to start<\/strong> and finish<\/strong> Publishing the module.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  7. \r\n

    Set access level group<\/strong> that is allowed to view this module: <\/p>\r\n

    Specify the ordering for the created module. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
