This tutorial shows how to identify the font used in Photoshop text layer.<\/p>\r\nPhotoshop. How to identify the font used in the text layer<\/a>\r\n\r\n

Template PSD files are located in the template “sources\/psd”<\/strong> folder.In order to identify which font was used in Photoshop layer you should perform the following:<\/p>\r\n

  1. If you have several .PSD files in the template “sources\/psd”<\/strong> folder, please search for the main layout slices in the first PSD file. It can be named 01_home.psd or main.psd, etc.<\/p>\r\n

    The design of all pages is the same so slices can be found only in the first file.<\/p>\r\n

    Open .psd file from “sources\/psd”<\/strong> folder using Adobe Photoshop.<\/p><\/li>\r\n

  2. When you opened .PSD file with Adobe Photoshop, click View<\/strong> navigation menu item and select Shows > Slices<\/strong>. <\/p><\/li>\r\n

  3. You should enable “Character” panel: Types-> Panels->Character panel<\/strong>: <\/p>\r\n\r\n\"How-to-identify-what-font-was-used-in-a-Photoshop-layer-1\"<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  4. In order to find the layer with the desired text, please type the text into search field on the Layers<\/strong> tab. <\/p><\/li>\r\n

  5. Click on the layer found.<\/p><\/li>\r\n
