This tutorial will show you how to set up and configure a slider in Joomla 3.x.<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    On the screenshot below you can see a website where we will add a slider: <\/p>\r\n

    First, you will need to create a slider category. <\/p>\r\n

    Navigate to Content -> Categories <\/strong> add new category, e.g. “Slider”<\/em>:<\/p>\r\n

    Then you will need to create articles and assign them to the category created above.<\/p>\r\n

    Go to Joomla admin panel Content -> Articles <\/strong> add new one.<\/p>\r\n

    Put your title and assign article to the new created category slider.<\/p>\r\n

    In the image options add your image that will be shown in the slider.<\/p>\r\n

    Create as many articles as you need to be shown in slider (image that you assign to every certain article): <\/p>\r\n

    Go to your Joomla admin panel Extensions -> Module Manager<\/strong>, click Add new<\/strong>. Select type of module Image Swoop<\/strong>. Put title of the module, select and assign your new created category Slider<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

    Chose options that you need: Image – Show, Article Title – Show<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    Click Module Assignment<\/strong> tab, select pages where you need your module to be shown.<\/p>\r\n

    On Image Swoop Settings<\/strong> tab put the Height<\/strong> and Min height<\/strong> values:<\/p>\r\n

    Check your site, please. Slider is shown:<\/p>\r\n
