At times you can see the Google+ icon is not displayed in your social media section although it is set properly in admin panel.<\/p>\r\n
The issue is caused by server settings, since server often does not recognize “+”<\/strong> sign.<\/p>\r\n Let’s learn how to fix this issue.<\/p>\r\n Access your WordPress dashboard and go to Appearance ->Editor<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Locate the static-social-networks.php<\/strong> file on the right hand side of the appeared screen and click on its title to open the file:<\/p>\r\n Locate the following code in the opened file:<\/p>\r\n Just change the "google+"<\/strong> to "google"<\/strong>. Save the file by clicking on “Update File”<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n Now, you need to change the Google+ icon image name.<\/p>\r\n Access your FTP\/hosting control panel File Manager and locate the google+.png<\/strong> file in the \/wp-content\/themes\/theme51224\/images\/icons\/<\/strong> directory.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Just rename the file to google.png<\/strong> .<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Open your front-end and refresh the page to see changes:<\/p>\r\n\r\n
