In this tutorial you will learn how to remove Information <\/strong> block in Magento template(s):<\/p>\r\n

    Open footer.phtml<\/strong> file located in app\/design\/frontend\/default\/themeXXX\/template\/page\/html<\/strong> directory using your FTP client or FileManager in your Hosting Control panel:<\/p>\r\n

    You will need to remove the following code:<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n<div class="footer-col"> \r\n\t<h4><?php echo $this->__('Information') ?><\/h4>\r\n\t<div class="footer-col-content">\r\n\t\t<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('cms_footer_links') ?>\r\n\t\t<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('footer_links') ?>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/pre>\r\n
    \"magento_remove_info_block_3\"<\/a>\r\n <\/li>\r\n
  3. \r\n
    Save this file and upload it to the server replacing the original one.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Note that sometimes it’s required to clean the Magento cache:<\/p>\r\n
      \r\n
    1. \r\n
      Log into your admin panel.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
    2. \r\n
      Select System -> Cache Management<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
    3. \r\n
      In Cache Control<\/strong> box check all options and in All Cache<\/strong> dropdown select Refresh<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

      Reload your site to see the changes.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
