This tutorial will show you how to use Backup\/Restore option in OpenCart 2.x.<\/p>\r\n

OpenCart 2.x. Using the Backup\/Restore option<\/a><\/p>\r\n

Opencart has Backup and Restore options in its admin panel. It allows you to back up and restore your site database from admin panel.<\/p>\r\n

We recommend that you back up your site regularly to be able to restore it if needed.<\/p>\r\n

    Log into your Opencart admin panel.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  2. \r\n

    Open Tools<\/strong> > Backup \/ Restore<\/strong> page:<\/p>\r\n

    Select the tables you want to back up.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Click the Backup<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n

    You will see the notice to download a backup file in .sql format. Save that file on your computer. It is needed in case you need to restore your site.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

      Open the same Tools<\/strong> > Backup\/Restore<\/strong> page in your Opencart backend.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

      Browse your backup file under Restore Backup<\/strong> field.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

      Click the Restore<\/strong> button at the top right corner:<\/p>\r\n
