This tutorial will show you how to deal with No upgrade has been applied. To prevent any problem, this module has been turned off<\/em> error.<\/p>\r\n

PrestaShop 1.6.x. How to deal with “No upgrade has been applied to prevent any problem, this module has been turned off” error<\/a><\/p>\r\n

Open Admin panel -> Modules -> Modules<\/strong> and search for Theme Configurator module<\/strong>. You will not be able to open it to configure due to the error: No upgrade has been applied. To prevent any problem, this module has been turned off:<\/p>\r\n

Please make the database backup<\/a> before making any changes provided below!<\/p>\r\n

    In order to fix the issue, please open the PrestaShop engine files and navigate to prestashop\/install\/upgrade\/sql<\/strong> folder, select the sql file which title has the version of the engine higher than the one which the template was created for. In our case the template was created for Prestashop engine version 1.6.0.5, and we have installed it to PrestaShop engine version 1.6.0.9, that means we need to use 1.6.0.6.sql -1.6.0.9.sql files.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Open files in any text editor and replace PREFIX<\/strong> with ps<\/strong>, where ps<\/strong> is the valid database prefix for our installation:<\/p>\r\n

    Now open PhPMyAdmin tool and open the database connected to your PrestaShop store. Navigate to SQL<\/strong> tab. Copy the contents of the updated 1.6.0.6.sql – 1.6.0.9.sql files and paste to SQL<\/strong> tab one by one. Once you are done, click GO<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Open Admin panel and enable Theme configurator module. Now it works fine and shows up on the store frontend.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
