This tutorial shows how to add menu item with anchor link in Joomla 3.x<\/strong> templates.<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    Log into Joomla Admin Panel<\/strong>, go to Extensions<\/strong> -> Module Manager<\/strong> to check the position of the module that we need to link to:<\/p>\r\n

    Go to Menus<\/strong> and select the menu where you want to create a new menu item. Usually, it’s Main Menu<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    Click New<\/strong> to add a new menu item. Fill in the title<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    Select the Menu Item Type<\/strong> field as System Links<\/strong> -> External Link<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    In Link<\/strong> field, type #<\/strong> and paste the position that we have copied from step 1 after #<\/strong>. Hit Save & Close<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n
