You can use Batch<\/strong> option to copy \/ move pages in Joomla. The Batch<\/strong> Process allows you to copy \/ move pages, set access level and change language. Joomla has different page types. You can check our video tutorial about Menu item types overview<\/a>. We will show you how to duplicate category page in this tutorial:<\/p>\r\n Log into your Joomla admin panel and open Menus<\/strong> > Main Menu<\/strong> page:<\/p>\r\n Check page you would like to copy.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Click Batch<\/strong> button in the top tool bar:<\/p>\r\n You will see a pop up window as shown below:<\/p>\r\n Set access level and language.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Select Menu or Parent for Move\/Copy your page.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Choose Copy<\/strong> option to duplicate your page.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n When all of the settings are entered, click on Process<\/strong>. A message "Batch process completed successfully."<\/strong> will show. It means that page is successfully duplicated.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n Every Joomla page consists of articles, modules, forms, etc. We will show you how to duplicate page content:<\/p>\r\n To duplicate Joomla articles follow steps below:<\/p>\r\n All articles are assigned to specific category. Open Content<\/strong> > Category Manager<\/strong> page to duplicate a category.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Check category you need to copy and click on the Batch<\/strong> option in the top tool bar:<\/p>\r\n Set Language, add tag and set access level on the next screen.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Select Category for move\/copy and click on Process<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n New category has to be assigned to the page you duplicated earlier. Navigate to Menus<\/strong> > Main Menu<\/strong>. Edit duplicated page. Select your new category under the Choose a category field:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Navigate to Content<\/strong> > Article Manager<\/strong> tab. Check articles you would like to duplicate and click on Batch<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n You can change the same settings: tag, access level and language on the next screen.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Select category you duplicated earlier from Select Category for Move\/Copy<\/strong> drop down. Click on Process<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n In order to copy Joomla modules, follow the steps below:<\/p>\r\n Open Extensions<\/strong> > Module Manager<\/strong> page in your Joomla admin panel:<\/p>\r\n Find module you need to duplicate, check it and click Batch<\/strong> button in the top tool bar.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Set module access level and select your site language.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Select module position from Set Position<\/strong> drop down. Make sure your new menu position is the same as already existing module has. Click Process<\/strong> to finish duplication.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Open duplicated module. Click Menu Assignment<\/strong> button to select page to which you would like your new module to be assigned:<\/p>\r\n In case you duplicated category or article module, make sure you selected required category or article on the Module<\/strong> tab in your new module settings. You can choose article\/category in Select Article<\/strong> \/ Select Category<\/strong> field under the Module<\/strong> tab:<\/p>\r\n You can use our instructions to duplicate other page types.
