Copy class or element ID<\/strong> and open the themes\/themeXXX<\/strong> directory of the template package. Look for the class required using Search tool<\/strong> of your FTP extension. Next open and edit the required file on server:<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

Connect to server via FTP<\/a> or open cPanel File manager<\/a> and navigate to themes\/themeXXX<\/strong> directory of PrestaShop installation.. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

To change category short description length<\/strong>, open the category.tpl<\/strong> file, find the following code:<\/p>\r\n

<div id="category_description_short">{$description_short|truncate:25:'...'}<\/div><\/pre>\r\nNext, replace 25 with number of symbols you would like to display.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

To change product name length<\/strong> on category listing page, open the product-list.tpl<\/strong> file located in the themes\/themeXXX directory of PrestaShop installation, find the following line:<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\t\t<span class="list-name">{$product.name|truncate:100:'...'|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}<\/span>\r\n\t\t<span class="grid-name">{$product.name|truncate:25:'...'|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}<\/span><\/pre>\r\nReplace number of symbols in truncate with yours. Please note that you will need to change number of symbols for both: grid and list styles.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
