This tutorial is going to show you how to use WPL shortcodes.<\/p>\r\n

WordPress. How to use WPL shortcodes<\/a><\/p>\r\n

<\/strong>WordPress Property Listing plugin is used on the real estate sites, that can be created with the help of wordpress real estate themes<\/a>. It allows to add and manage properties, property agents, as well as offer access management and memberships for users.<\/p>\r\n

Plugin installation<\/h3>\r\n

    Download WPL plugin from WPL official site<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  2. \r\n

    Navigate to Plugins<\/strong> > Add New<\/strong> > Upload<\/strong> page in your WordPress admin panel.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  3. \r\n

    Browse plugin file from your computer, click Install now<\/strong>. Activate the plugin after uploading.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    WPL plugin shortcodes usage<\/h3>\r\n

      Open a post\/page in your WordPress admin panel.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    2. \r\n

      Set the editing mode to Visual<\/strong>. Click WPL Shortcode<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n

      After clicking on the [W]<\/strong> icon, you will see the pop up window below:<\/p>\r\n

      You can generate Property Listing<\/em>, Property show <\/em>(single property page), Profile\/Agent Listing<\/em>, Profile\/Agent Listing<\/em>, My Profile<\/em> pages\/posts using WPL shortcode. Select shorcode you would like to use from View<\/strong> drop down.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

      After selecting the shortcode from the View drop down, you will see shortcode configuration form. Enter shortcode settings and click Insert<\/strong> to generate shortcode. Save post\/pages and preview your site.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

      Let’s take a closer look at available shortcodes:<\/p>\r\n

      1. \r\n

        Property Listing<\/strong> allows you to show the list of properties to site visitors with pagination, sort options. You can add different types of property listings: a menu for showing sale properties or rental properties, specify the default page size and default sort type, etc. Property Listing<\/strong> shortcode will look like the following one:<\/p>\r\n

        Property Show<\/strong> allows you to add property to your site page. Property Show shortcode will look like the following one:<\/p>\r\n

        Where 1010 is your property ID. To find out ID, please navigate to WPL<\/strong> > Listing Manager<\/strong> page in your admin panel. You will see all available listings there. Click Edit<\/strong> next to the listing you would like to add:<\/p>\r\n

        On the next screen you will be able to see the listing ID:<\/p>\r\n

        Profile\/Agent Listing<\/strong> is used for creating a profile listing view. It is used to list the agents. Enter the following settings to shortcode wizard: Layout<\/em>, User Type<\/em>, Target Page<\/em>, Page Size<\/em>, Order by<\/em> and Order<\/em> settings. Shortcode will look like:<\/p>\r\n

        Profile\/Agent Show<\/strong> is used to display the profile of a specific user\/agent. Shortcode will look as follows:<\/p>\r\n

          Select Profile\/Agent Show<\/strong> from the View<\/strong> drop down.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

          Set up layout by selecting option from Layout<\/strong> drop down.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

          On the next step choose user you would like to add to the page.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

          Select target page for your user link:<\/p>\r\n

          My Profile<\/strong> is used to display the profile form of a user\/agent in frontend. Select My Profile<\/strong> from the View<\/strong> drop down. Click Insert<\/strong> button. It will generate a shortcode like this:<\/p>\r\n

          Click View Page<\/strong> button to see how the added shortcode will look like on the frontend:<\/p>\r\n
