If you take your own product images for your PrestaShop website, you can place a watermark on each image you have displayed on your site to prevent people from stealing your images.<\/p>\r\n
NOTE: In PrestaShop the watermark files can be uploaded only in .gif<\/strong> format. You can place the watermark in a number of positions so that you can place it just the way you like. <\/p>\r\n Log into your PrestaShop 1.6 dashboard.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Navigate to Modules->Modules<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Find the module named Watermarks<\/strong> in the list of the modules. Click on the Install<\/strong> button located to the right of the module row:<\/p>\r\n Click on the Configure<\/strong> button to enter the module configuration.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n There are several fields to help you customize your watermark. <\/p>\r\n Watermark File<\/strong> – Select the file to be used as your watermark. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Watermark Transparency (0-100)<\/strong> – Specify the level of transparency for the watermark. The lower the number, the more transparent the image.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Watermark X align<\/strong> – Select the horizontal alignment for the watermark.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Watermark Y align<\/strong> – Select the vertical alignment for the watermark.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Choose image types for watermark protection <\/strong> – Select image types to which you want the watermark to apply.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Logged-in customers can see images without watermark<\/strong> – Decide whether to show the original images to the registered customers.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Once you have configured the settings for your watermark, click the Save<\/strong> button at the bottom of the screen to confirm the configuration:<\/p>\r\n Navigate to Preferences -> Images<\/strong>. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n Scroll down the Regenerate Thumbnails<\/strong> section. Unless you specifically wish to add watermarks to only one type, leave the Select Image<\/strong> dropdown set to All<\/strong>.
