CherryFramework 4. How to set up MailChimp plugin<\/a><\/p>\r\n

What is MailChimp?<\/h3>\r\n

MailChimp<\/strong> is a plugin that connects your WordPress site to MailChimp, so you will need to have a MailChimp account first. MailChimp is a newsletter service<\/u> that allows you to send out email campaigns to a list of email subscribers. MailChimp is absolutely free for lists up to 2000 subscribers, which is why it is the go-to choice for both small and big businesses.<\/p>\r\n

MailChimp account creating<\/h3>\r\n

NOTE: You can skip this step if you have your MailChimp account created.<\/p>\r\n

To create a MailChimp account, you should perform the following steps:<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  1. \r\n

    Go to the official MailChimp site<\/a> and click the Sign Up Free<\/strong> button in the top right corner to create a new account:<\/p>\r\n

    In the appeared sign-in form fill in all required fields and push the Create My Account<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n

    You will receive the confirmation message after the account is created (see the screenshot below):<\/p>\r\n

    Open your mailbox (of the email address used for the account creating) and check Inbox messages. Open the message from MailChimp and click Activate Account<\/strong> button in it.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    You will be redirected to the profile settings page. Fill in all requested information and then click Save And Get Started<\/strong> button to log into your MailChimp account.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    Creating a new list of subscribers<\/h3>\r\n

    To create a new list of subscribers in your MaiChimp account, you should perform the following steps:<\/p>\r\n

      Log into your MailChimp account, open Lists<\/strong> menu and click the Create List<\/strong> button:<\/p>\r\n

      In the appeared form fill in all required fields and push Save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

      The new list was successfully created. Now you can add your subscribers to this list and manage its settings.<\/p>\r\n

      MailChimp plugin installation<\/h3>\r\n

      NOTE: You can skip this step if you have MailChimp plugin installed in your admin panel.<\/p>\r\n

      To install the MailChimp plugin, you should perform the following steps:<\/p>\r\n

        \r\n
      1. \r\n

        In your WordPress admin panel navigate to Plugins<\/strong> menu and click Add New<\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

      2. \r\n

        In the search field type in MailChimp for WP<\/i> and submit the search:<\/p>\r\n

        Click the Install Now<\/strong> button for the MailChimp for WordPress<\/i> plugin and follow any necessary prompts on screen, then click Activate Plugin<\/strong> link.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

        Connecting to MailChimp<\/h3>\r\n

        After ensuring the plugin was activated under Plugins -> Installed Plugins<\/strong> menu, you will see a new dashboard tab titled MailChimp for WP<\/strong>. Click it to set up the plugin.<\/p>\r\n

          To connect your MailChimp account, you will need to enter your API keys<\/u> into the necessary field:<\/p>\r\n

          The plugin provides a convenient link (Get your API key here<\/i>) below the field, which will direct you to the API key in your MailChimp account. <\/p>\r\n
