You may receive a blank page<\/strong> at your site front-end or\/and back-end after updating Joomla<\/strong> engine.<\/p>\r\n

Let’s learn how to resolve this issue.<\/p>\r\n

First of all you should turn on the error reporting<\/a> on your server to find out what may cause the blank page issue.<\/p>\r\n

You can see the following error on your site:<\/p>\r\n

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in \/var\/www\/vhosts\/face2designhosting.nl\/httpdocs\/plugins\/system\/remember\/remember.php on line 94 :<\/pre>\r\n
In order to get rid of the error if you follow the steps listed below:<\/p>\r\n
    \r\n
  1. \r\n
    Navigate to \/plugins\/system\/remember\/ <\/strong>directory on your server using FTP\/File Manager<\/strong> and locate the remember.php<\/strong> file – rename the file to _remember.php<\/strong> :<\/p>\r\n

    Then, navigate to \/plugins\/user\/joomla\/<\/strong> directory and locate the joomla.php<\/strong> file – rename it to _joomla.php<\/strong> :<\/p>\r\n

    Upload the original joomla.php<\/strong> file from the downloaded engine package to the \/plugins\/user\/joomla\/ <\/strong>directory on your server:<\/p>\r\n

      Click “Fix”<\/strong> button in the upper left corner to repair the database structure.<\/p>\r\n
