This tutorial will show you the way to set up and manage RSS feeds in Joomla 3.x.<\/p>\r\n

RSS (Rich Site Summary)<\/strong> is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed<\/strong> to whoever wants it. <\/p>\r\n

Creating RSS feeds<\/h3>\r\n

  1. \r\n

    In the top menu, click ‘Extensions’<\/strong>, and then click ‘Module Manager’<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    In the top left of the page, click ‘New’<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    Select a module type as ‘Syndication Feeds’<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

    Fill in the title<\/strong>, feed format as RSS 2.0<\/strong>, choose the position<\/strong> to show the module:<\/p>\r\n

    Choose the menu<\/strong> to apply the RSS feed. This module will create a Syndicated Feed<\/strong> for the page where the Module is applied. Select all pages<\/strong> if you wish to show all the website content<\/strong> in your RSS Feed: <\/p>\r\n

      In the top menu, click ‘Components’<\/strong>, hover over ‘Newsfeeds’<\/strong>, and then click ‘Categories’<\/strong>. In the top left of the page, click ‘New’<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n

      Fill in the title<\/strong> and the description<\/strong> of the RSS feed:<\/p>\r\n
