Hello! This video tutorial shows how to back up the site database<\/strong> with GoDaddy<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\nHow to back up database with GoDaddy<\/a>\r\n

You may want to back up your database<\/strong> before performing some changes to it or just for future usage.<\/p>\r\n

Let’s learn how to do that.<\/p>\r\n

  1. \r\n\t\t

    Access your GoDaddy<\/strong> account using your Customer ID<\/strong> and Password<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  2. \r\n\t\t

    Then navigate to Databases ->MySQL<\/strong> tab:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"backup_database_godaddy_phpmyadmin_1\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  3. \r\n\t\t

    The list of available databases will appear. Click the “PHPMYADMIN”<\/strong> button next to the database you would like to back up:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"backup_database_godaddy_phpmyadmin_2\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  4. \r\n\t\t

    Fill in the database username<\/strong> and database user password<\/strong> in the appeared form in order to access phpMyAdmin<\/strong> page.<\/p>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  5. \r\n\t\t

    In the appeared phpMyAdmin<\/strong> interface click on the database name<\/strong> on the left hand side to have the database structure opened in front of you:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"backup_database_godaddy_phpmyadmin_3\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  6. \r\n\t\t

    Now, click the “Export”<\/strong> tab and make sure to have all the options set according to the screenshot below:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"backup_database_godaddy_phpmyadmin_4\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t

  7. \r\n\t\t

    Click “Go”<\/strong> button at the bottom right to proceed and save the back-up file<\/strong> on your local machine:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"backup_database_godaddy_phpmyadmin_5\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    You have successfully backed up your database.<\/p>\r\n
