In order to add a manufacturer, follow these steps:<\/p>\r\n

Log into your admin panel, and navigate to Catalog<\/strong>->Manufacturers<\/strong> section:<\/p>\r\n

There you can see a list of existing manufacturers. Click the Add New<\/strong> button in the top right corner:<\/p>\r\n

Manufacturer Name<\/strong> – type a title for you new manufacturer (it is the only required field, other fields are optional);<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

Stores<\/strong> – assign the manufacturer to a definite store (in case you have several of them);<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
- \r\n
SEO Keyword<\/strong> – here you can add some SEO keyword; <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
- \r\n
Image<\/strong> – add an image for the manufacturer from the existing images or browse a new one from your computer. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
- \r\n
Sort Order<\/strong> – define a sort order for your new manufacturer. <\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

You can assign manufacturers to your products in Catalog<\/strong>->Products<\/strong>-> any product-Links<\/strong> tab:<\/p>\r\n

Our OpenCart 2.x templates include the TM Manufacturer<\/strong> module which allows to display the manufacturers block on any page of your site. Follow these steps to activate it:<\/p>\r\n

Go to Extensions<\/strong> -> Modules<\/strong> section in your admin panel:<\/p>\r\n

Access the settings of the module by clicking the Edit<\/strong> button, type a name for the module and enable it in the Status<\/strong> field, then press the Save<\/strong> button in the top right:<\/p>\r\n

Navigate to Design<\/strong> ->Layouts<\/strong>, and select a page on which you want to display the Manufacturers’ block, click Edit<\/strong>: <\/p>\r\n

Press the blue Add Module<\/strong> button in the bottom right, select the previously created module for manufacturers from the list of all modules, assign it to a definite position and set its sort order. Save the settings: <\/p>\r\n
