This tutorial will show how to manage products comments and reviews<\/strong> in PrestaShop 1.6.x.<\/p>\r\nPrestaShop 1.6.x. How to manage “Products Comments” module<\/a>\r\n

In order to manage Products Comments module, you should perform the following steps:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n

    \t\r\n\t
  1. \r\n\t\t

    First, navigate to your Dashboard<\/strong> and press on Modules and Services tab<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"PrestaShop-1.6.x.-How-to-manage-Products-Comments-module\"<\/a>\r\n\t\r\n\t

  2. \r\n\t\t

    Select the Modules and Services<\/strong> item and search for “Products Comments”<\/strong> module. And press on “Configure”<\/strong> button in order to check settings. <\/p> \r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t\r\n\t

  3. \r\n\t\t

    Here you can find “Configuration Settings”<\/strong>, where you will be able to change:<\/p>\r\n\t\t

      \r\n\t\t\t

    1. Validation by an employee option<\/strong> – means that you can approve reviews after receiving it or it will be shown automatically after validation.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t

    2. Guest reviews settings<\/strong>– allows to specify that all customers will be able to leave a comment.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t\t\t

    3. Minimum time between 2 reviews from the same user option<\/strong> – means amount of time that will separate two comments from the same author:<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t\t<\/ol>\r\n\t\r\n\"PrestaShop-1.6.x.-How-to-manage-Products-Comments-module-2\"<\/a>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t\r\n\t

    4. You will also be able to approve comments in the “Reviews waiting for approval” section:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"PrestaShop-1.6.x.-How-to-manage-Products-Comments-module-3\"<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t\r\n\t

    5. In the bottom section you will see “Review Criteria”<\/strong> options that allows you to create various of properties that will be related to the products, product categories or to entire catalog. You can add new criteria using the top right corner button “Add new”<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n\t\r\n\"PrestaShop-1.6.x.-How-to-manage-Products-Comments-module-4\"<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t\r\n\t

    6. \r\n\t\t

      All posted reviews will be available at the bottom of the module<\/strong> section.<\/p>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t

      Go back to your website and refresh the page with text that you have changed. Now we can see that editing was successful. <\/p>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n
