To make a backup of your site data (export database content), you should perform the following steps:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. Log into your hosting account and scroll down to see the Databases<\/strong> section. Click on MySQL <\/strong> button.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"How_to_export_MySQL_database_with_GoDaddy_1\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    The pop up window with the list of your databases appears. Select your required database name from the list. Then click on phpMyAdmin <\/strong> button on the right side.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"How_to_export_MySQL_database_with_GoDaddy_2\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Log into the phpMyAdmin section with your database access details. Then click on the GO<\/strong> button to proceed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"How_to_export_MySQL_database_with_GoDaddy_3\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    In the phpMyAdmin control panel window click on your database name on the left side. Then go to the Export<\/strong> tab at top middle.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"How_to_export_MySQL_database_with_GoDaddy_4\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Check the Save as file <\/strong> field. You may set your custom name for the exported file here or leave the default settings. By default, file with backup data is named same as your database.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"How_to_export_MySQL_database_with_GoDaddy_7\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/li>\r\n
