This tutorial is going to show you how to edit "Follow us on Facebook" module and connect it with your Facebook page in Joomla 3.x templates.<\/p>\r\nJoomla 3.x. How to edit “Follow us on Facebook” module<\/a>\r\n

"Follow us on Facebook"<\/strong> module allows to display Facebook like box, where you can invite your site visitors to follow you. Your clients can also see there how many people liked your site. <\/p>\r\n

To connect the "Follow us on Facebook" module with your Facebook page, you should perform the following steps:<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n

  1. Log into your Joomla admin panel and navigate to the System -> Global Configuration<\/strong> menu.<\/p><\/li> \r\n

  2. Find the option Default Editor<\/strong> and select Editor – Code Mirror<\/strong> or Editor – None<\/strong> value from the list:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"joomla3_how_to_edit_Follow_us_on_Facebook_module1\"<\/a>\r\n

    NOTE: With the default Joomla TinyMCE editor activated you will not be able to see the code that loads "Follow us on Facebook" box on your site.<\/p>\r\n<\/li> \r\n

  3. Click Save<\/strong> button in the top right corner to save the changes.<\/p><\/li> \r\n

  4. Now navigate to the Extensions -> Module Manager<\/strong> menu. <\/p> <\/li> \r\n

  5. In the search field type "facebook" word to find the required module. In our case, it is a Custom HTML module:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"joomla3_how_to_edit_Follow_us_on_Facebook_module2\"<\/a>\r\n<\/li> \r\n

  6. Open this module and in the text area you will see a similar code: <\/p>\r\n

    In this code you just need to change "FacebookDevelopers"<\/strong> page name to your Facebook page name (see the screenshot below):<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"joomla3_how_to_edit_Follow_us_on_Facebook_module3\"<\/a>\r\n
    For example, if the direct link to your Facebook page is https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TemplateMonster<\/a>, your page name is "TemplateMonster"<\/strong> (with capital letters as in the link). So, you will need to change "TemplateMonster" to "FacebookDevelopers" in the module iframe code (see the screenshot below):<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"joomla3_how_to_edit_Follow_us_on_Facebook_module4\"<\/a>\r\n
    IMPORTANT: Do not edit any other symbols\/elements of the module code, because it can break the Facebook like box structure.<\/p>\r\n<\/li> \r\n
  7. After everything is done, press Save<\/strong> button in the top right corner.<\/p><\/li> \r\n
  8. Refresh your site to see the changes. The "Follow us on Facebook" module was connected to your Facebook page successfully.<\/p><\/li> \r\n<\/ol>\r\n
