This tutorial shows how to remove image link in the Articles-Newsflash module<\/strong> in Joomla 3.x.<\/p>\r\nJoomla 3.x. How to unlink image in “Articles-Newsflash” module<\/a>\r\n

  1. Insepct the Image<\/a> at the front-end with FireBug or Inspect Element tool<\/strong> in order to find image class and position used for Articles-Newsflash module:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"Joomla<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  2. \r\n

    Next, log into Joomla admin panel and open the Extensions -> Module manager<\/strong> tab. Open the Articles-Newsflash module in corresponding position, switch to the Advanced tab<\/strong> and check layout assigned to module in the Alternative Layout<\/strong> field:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"Joomla<\/a>\r\n <\/li>\r\n

  3. \r\n

    Connect to server via FTP<\/a> or use cPanel file manager<\/a> to open files on server.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\r\n

  4. \r\n

    Open the templates\/themeXXXX\/html\/mod_articles_news_adv<\/strong> directory, find and open the appropriate module layout file in Editor<\/strong>. Find image class, img-intro<\/strong> in our case, it should be wrapped with link tags. Link code starts and ends with <a href=""><\/code> and <\/a><\/code> tags, delete opening and closing tags from the image code:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\"Joomla<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  5. \r\n

    Save changes in the file. Refresh page to check image display.<\/p>\r\n <\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n
