In order to start adding a theme localization, please download and install PoEdit<\/strong> software at https:\/\/poedit.net\/download<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. Connect to server via FTP<\/a> or open cPanel File manager<\/a>. Download the wp-content\/themes\/your_theme\/languages\/your_theme.pot<\/strong> file. Please note that your_theme is the theme folder name on server.<\/p><\/li>\r\n

  2. \r\n

    Next, open the PoEdit<\/strong> software, click the Create new translation<\/strong> button and select corresponding language in the Translation Language<\/strong> field. Next, navigate to Catalog -> Properties<\/strong> and make sure that correct language is selected:<\/p>\r\n\"Wordpress<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  3. Start adding your translations into the Translation<\/strong> field. You can type in translations or use suggestions on the right:<\/p>\r\n\"Wordpress<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Click the Save<\/strong> button at the top of PoEdit and save file with the corresponding language code. Feel free to use the following link to find correct language code: https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/polyglots\/teams\/<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n \"Wordpress<\/a>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

  5. \r\n

    After saving the changes, .po<\/strong> and .mo<\/strong> language files will appear in the directory you’ve downloaded language file to. Upload these files to the wp-content\/themes\/your_theme\/languages<\/strong> folder on server.<\/p>\r\n <\/li>\r\n

  6. \r\n

    Navigate to WordPress Dashboard and open the Settings -> General<\/strong> tab, scroll down and select the corresponding language in the Site Language<\/strong> field, save changes:<\/p>\r\n \"Wordpress<\/a>\r\n <\/li>\r\n

    Refresh your website front-end to see that translation was added successfully.<\/p><\/li>\r\n <\/ol>\r\n
