\r\nWordPress Temporary Folder Missing Error<\/b> is thrown by php, when its unable to locate a temporary folder. This might be a server-side problem as they may have forgotten to set up temp dir for you, but can be treated by changing PHP settings using php.ini file:<\/p>\r\n\"WordPress_How_to_manage_Temporary_Folder_Missing_Error_while_uploading_media_img1\"<\/a>\r\n\r\n

The first option is:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. Log into Hosting Cpanel<\/i> of your server or use your FTP<\/i>.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t

  2. Locate wp-config.php<\/b> file in the root of your wordpress site.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t

    1. Log into Hosting Cpanel<\/i> of your server or use your FTP<\/i>.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t
    2. Open public_html<\/i> folder.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t
    3. Now create a file with a name php.ini<\/b>.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t
    4. Place the following code inside the file:<\/p>\r\n\t\t
       upload_tmp_dir= \/home\/username\/public_html\/temp\/<\/pre>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n\t
    5. Save the file.<\/p><\/li>\r\n\t
    6. Create a temp folder at the same location, i.e. inside public_html<\/i>.<\/p>\r\n\t<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
