How to download the engine<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>Before you start downloading the Magento release, please check the template requirements on the preview page to get the correct version.<\/p>\r\n<p>In order to create anchor links, you should perform the following steps:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>\r\n<p>First, visit the official Magento website using the following <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magentocommerce.com.\" target=\"_blank\">link<\/a>. Please remember that you will be able to download Magento engine only after creating your personal account on the website. We recommend using the Full Release download option.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<p><strong>Full Release with Sample Data (ZIP with sample data)<\/strong>&#8211; allows you to download full Magento engine package that will include examples of products, categories and store design.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<p><strong>Download with Composer<\/strong> \u2013 allows you to use Magento engine downloader to install Magento on your server. The downloader package is smaller and it will automatically download all Magento core files to your server.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<p>When you decided which option to use, click the <strong>Select your format<\/strong> select box and choose the download package format. Click <strong>Download<\/strong> button to start downloading.\r\n\t\t<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<p>In case you need more recent versions of Magento engine, click <strong>Release Archives<\/strong> tab at the top.
