first of all i had many issues setting the template up. mistakes over and over while trying to get the demo content in. Then you can't use it with joomla 3.7.x or higher which is a hassle an the template it self has poor possibilities of customization! Not worth it!
Thank you for your feedback.The template was designed prior to Joomla 3.7 release. That is why we can not guarantee the template will be 100% compatible with Joomla 3.7.
However, you can update the fullpackage manually using update files at https://downloads.joomla.org/cms/joomla3
We have also performed the test installation and updated Joomla engine manually to the following versions:
3.2.7-3.5.1-3.6.5-3.7
We have checked the test installation and not found significant issues. Please follow the instruction in your support ticket RKP-514-95459 to use our test installation in order to check how the template works on Joomla 3.7 engine.
Feel free to reopen that ticket to let us know if everything works properly on your end.

Interesting use of menus, a lot of the module positions use menus that aren't menus, just text. Some of the functions are a little hidden. It's also using a custom module based on the old version of the newsflash module which doesn't have the ability to sort ASC or DESC. If you add to the following field to mod_articles_news_adv.xml then you regain the ability to reverse sort on article order.
JGLOBAL_ORDER_ASCENDING
JGLOBAL_ORDER_DESCENDING
Not really suited for a novice I'd reckon.
