Why is Adobe Photoshop CS+ required. Can I use the template without it?
I have this template and a few others, although you wouldn't have to have photoshop per se to use this site, it is helpful when using such "photo-centric" templates. With image slideshows, galleries, etc. you'd want to create the exact sizes / image quality to look good... so although I don't think you have to have it... I can't imaging myself not using photoshop while building a site, and assuming you want to achieve the look and quality this author has in the sample then photoshop or access to photo editing would definitely be an asset.
