17, 4,2025 Updated Styling in the Main Stylesheet (/assets/css/main.css): We made several changes to the main stylesheet to enhance the visual appearance and maintain consistency across the site. These updates include adjustments to spacing, typography, color schemes, and responsiveness. Redundant styles were removed, and modern CSS practices were adopted to improve maintainability and performance.

Upgraded Bootstrap Framework to Version 5.0: The project has been migrated from an earlier version of Bootstrap to version 5.0. This upgrade provides a more modern component library, improved grid system, better accessibility support, and removes the dependency on jQuery. All associated layout and component classes were updated to comply with Bootstrap 5’s syntax and conventions.

Patched SQL Injection Vulnerability: A critical security issue related to SQL injection was identified and resolved. Input validation and sanitization procedures were improved, and prepared statements were implemented where user input interacts with the database. This helps prevent malicious input from compromising the system or accessing sensitive data.

Implemented Lazy Loading for Images: Image elements throughout the site were updated to use lazy loading. This means images now load only when they are about to appear in the user’s viewport, reducing initial page load time and improving overall site performance—especially on slower network connections.

Removed Deprecated jQuery Functions from script.js: Several outdated jQuery methods were removed or replaced with modern JavaScript alternatives. This improves code reliability, aligns with current best practices, and contributes to better browser compatibility. The codebase is now cleaner and more efficient, with reduced reliance on legacy scripts.
